Video context for Figma comments

Show what
you mean.

Some things need more than a comment. Attach a demo to the exact spot in Figma, so your team can see what you see.

Some things are
better shown.

The timing of an animation. A bug that’s hard to describe. That tiny detail that makes it feel right. Give your feedback the context words can’t quite capture.

From “what do you mean?” to “got it.”

Select a step to explore the demo above.

Keep the context.
Keep your flow.

For the moments when another paragraph of feedback just won’t do.

01 / CONTEXT

The “this” in
“make it like this.”

Put the reference right beside the feedback. A video attached to the exact comment makes the intention easier to understand.

02 / FLOW

Keep the demo close.
Keep designing.

Float a clip with picture-in-picture while you work through the design. The reference stays in sight, so you can stay in your flow.

Picture-in-picture availability depends on your browser.

A shared reference for the whole team.

Share access with collaborators, so the next person gets the context too.

A few useful details

Good questions.

A little context about the tool that gives your comments a little context.

Doesn’t Figma already have comments?

Yes. DemoNote adds video context to that conversation. Use a clip to show an interaction, explain an issue or demonstrate exactly what you mean, attached to a specific comment.

Is DemoNote a Figma plugin?

DemoNote is a browser extension used alongside Figma in your browser. It adds a way to connect media to your comments without leaving the design workflow.

Can I use it with my team?

Yes. DemoNote supports shared access through invitations. Collaborators need DemoNote and access to the shared workspace to see its media; they also need permission to open the Figma file.

Which browsers can I use?

DemoNote has been built for Firefox and Chrome. The first public Firefox release is under review. Public installation links will appear here when they’re ready.

Can I use it in the Figma desktop app?

DemoNote runs as a browser extension, so use Figma in a supported browser. The native Figma desktop app is not supported.

Less back-and-forth.
More “I see what you mean.”

Give your next Figma comment a little more context.
